Abbott Fund only accepts requests for funding online. The following is a summary of the steps required to apply for an Abbott Fund Grant:

1. Read the Abbott Fund Grant Guidelines. (PDF)
2. Read the What we do page of this site to gain an understanding of the types of organizations and programs Abbott Fund supports.
3. On the What we do page, select the Apply for a Grant link under the appropriate program area.
   (Note that we only accept grant requests from January through the end of October.)
4. You will need to pass the applicable eligibility quiz before gaining access to the online application.
5. You will need to have your organization's Federal Tax ID available.
6. Complete and submit the online application.
7. You will be notified via e-mail when your application is received by Abbott Fund.
8. You will be notified of Abbott Fund's decision on your funding request within 6-8 weeks.
