Bringing Science to Kids and Museums
Research shows that children who are exposed to science at an early age tend to develop a lasting interest in the subject. Working together to create the next generation of scientists, the Abbott Fund and Kohl Children’s Museum have developed an exciting new exhibit, Science + You. In Science + You, Abbott scientists share their love and knowledge of science with museum visitors.

Throughout the exhibit, children ages 3-8 are invited to explore science through fun, hands-on activities. Here, young volunteers put on their lab coats and assist with an experiment.

Science + You teaches kids that we all need exercise, a balanced diet and plenty of rest to stay healthy. Interactive experiences reinforce learning – and encourage visitors both young and old to follow a healthy, active lifestyle.
